Sikh Empire

The Sikh Empire 1799-1849 Arose under the leadership of Maharaja Ranjit Singh who established it basing it around the Punjab. The Sikh Empire was divided into four provinces: Lahore, Multan, Peshawar and Kashmir.

 

Operation Bluestar was the name given to for the attack on the Golden Temple complex from June 1-6, 1984. The Indian Army invaded the complex on the orders of the then Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi.
